Governance & Structure

The SASSF General Assembly (GA) is the supreme governing body of the SASSF. It is vested with all powers specifically conferred to it Governing Rules & Regulations of the Federation.

The SASSF GA holds the authority to vote on key matters such as the membership status, the appointment and dismissal of Executive Committee members, the approval of SASSF annual financial and activity reports, and amendments to the articles of association.

The SASSF GA convenes at least once a year, bringing together all SASSF members from all the South Asian Neigbouring Countries.

The SASSF Executive Committee/Board has the authority to decide on key SASSF matters, ensuring efficient coordination among committees and regions. Its decisions significantly influence SASSF operations, governance, and future growth.

The SASSF EC/Board  is composed of members elected by SASSF GA, including:

  • 1 President
  • 2 Vice Presidents
  • 1  Secretary General
  • 2 Joint Secretary
  • 2 EC Members

The SASSF EC/Board works closely with the SASSF GA. Elections for SASSF EC members are held every three years, with candidates nominated by full SASSF member countries.

The SASSF Committees  &  Commisions provide advice and assistance to the SASSF EC on all areas of the organisation’s work. These Committees/Commisions are designated for the topics of different Sports, Ethics and Legal, Athlete & Education, & Finance.
